Yes, I had Japanese food in Mexico but only because I needed a little break from the tortillas and meat.
This is located in (what seems to me) a high end mall in this Mexico DF business district. Connected to my hotel and surrounded by many other (better) restaurants.
It’s a nice, trendy looking spot with a fancy sushi carousel (conveyor belt) bringing small dishes around the restaurant. Plates are colored to indicate type of dish and price. Beyond the décor and ambience, the food was just okay. I had a yakisoba dish which was disappointing but I take partial credit for that mistake. None of my group (4) seemed even slightly impressed with their meal.
Made me regret straying from my Mexican food stands. I’ve learned my lesson.
