Mr Sushi is a good place to go for complicated, fun sushi rolls. The service has always been good. The menu has nice pictures showing off the colorful sushi rolls. The rolls nicely combine fish, fruit/vegetables, sauces, and cream cheese. They tend to have a lot of cooked fish vs. raw fish. This makes the menu accessible for almost everyone. As a note: I would not recommend this restaurant to people looking for fat slices of raw fish. However, I have had dinner here a few times and have happily stuck to the sushi rolls, soups, and salads. The restaurant does offer a teppanyaki menu but I haven’t tried it. The rolls are large but the slices are bite size. I really like the size of the sushi rolls. With a shared appetizer or salad one roll is enough food for me. Last night we started out with the mango salad, 79 pesos, which has mango and sushi salmon. If you are looking for something without rice I can recommend this salad. I have ordered it many times and sometimes I get cravings for it. My favorite roll is the kabunagui roll, 118 pesos. It has eel sauce on it which is just additive, it also has avocado, eel and cream cheese. We also had a baby maki roll with shrimp, 94 pesos, I loved it. In the past we have ordered a variety of rolls, all of them were good. The cocktails are pretty good. I really like the margarita de la casa but have tried other cocktails and they were good. The national beer is two for one on Friday night. I am not sure if the special lasts all night but both times we were here on a Friday night the special was on. There is a restaurant area, a bar/lounge area with a separate entrance, and even a take out fast food area with yet another entrance. Mr sushi occupies almost half a block, or so it seems, in Zona Azul. You can dress up or go in casually dressed. This is a good place for a date or even a family dinner. In my opinion this restaurant, with its many different areas, works well for everyone.
