We discovered Manao last year on our trip to Nuevo Vallarta. Couldn’t wait to go back! The cebiche is the best we’ve ever had. We ate there twice last year and have already done the same this year. Shared the red snapper soup which was delicious. Last week I had the Peruvian cebiche and my husband their tuna poke tostada. Fabulous! Tonight had the red snapper pibil. Sooooo good! Then for the dessert, we shared the panna cota which was a mistake. I should have had my own… it was that good! Hope to go back one more time before we head home.

We started the meal with a vegetable platter with homemade hummus. Very nice. We then had both Manao and Peruvian cevichés, and they are both muy deliciosos. We also ordered the Shrimp soup, d’lish! The Penna Cotta is also exquisite. For a boutique restaurant, this is a true find in Nuevo Vallarte. Gracias por tu créacion and your freshest seafood selections!

The food in Puerto Vallarta is generally quite good, and it’s difficult to choose the best restaurants to visit when here on vacation. This one is a must for any foodie– or really anyone who enjoys delicious food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Our group of six enjoyed the six creative ceviches we ordered, as well as the tuna poke and the four different deserts we tried. Truly, nothing was a disappointment, and given the outstanding reviews we read in advance, I thought there’s no way it could live up to expectations. But this little restaurant blew us away!

Been here in Nuevo Vallarta 5 days wanting to visit this place. It didn’t disappoint. We ordered the Aguachile and Camaron al Cilantro. The husband/wife couple got to work right away making our order fresh. She told us the fresh fish selection for the day and answered our questions and provided suggestions to our order. The atmosphere is laid back, great A/C, very clean and wide selection of bottled salsas to add a kick to your meal. Eating area sits 12 at 4 tables with another 2 tables outside to sit 6. Order ahead if you have time constraints or you are in a hurry. They are open 1pm-8pm Mon-Sat and closed on Sunday.

Excellent ceviche. No beer or alcohol, though. Great for take-out. Try the Manao or Chipotle ceviches. Tuna and Red Snapper were super fresh. Worth coming.

As we were trapped at the Grand Mayan, we broke free and came to Manao. Thank god we did, it was one of the best meals of our entire trip. Husband and wife owned restaurant that specializes in most unique and so flavorful ceviches! If you love ceviche you need to stop by. Prices are reasonable! Our favorites were the Mediterranean and the Al Pibil. We also started with a shrimp tostada, but he ate most of it before I could even get a bite — nuff said. Help support this adorable couple, enjoy some delicious artisan ceviches, and it’s BYOB!(for now at least)

Went here with the wife and kids. The owners are a wife and husband where the wife is the chef and mastermind behind the cerviche offerings. Great atmosphere and excellent food.
