Hotel Maya Tulipanes

Palenque is famous because of the near archeology area and this is also the reason why many tourist are here. The hotel itself has a restaurant, a pool and clean rooms.
The problem with the rooms is that you don’t have a window which gives you a view to the nature but to the hotel hallway. Wait, that’s not the bothering part, because of the weather you would choose the aircondition before opening the window. The bothering part is, that if you leave the curtains open everyone can take a look into you room and even more annoying is the fact if the guys come in late in the night there is a 50:50 chance they wake you up if they walk along the room.
But overall the rooms are good and you can stay there for 1 or 2 nights
The people at the reception speak english which is a plus and are helpful when you need something.
The restaurant offers breakfast and everything else. Okay it’s not a 5 star but who needs that anyway, the waiters are friendly and fast and the food is okay.
