Fue el primer lugar que conocí en Playa, me habían recomendado los nachos.
El lugar está padrísimo, súper relax, con un grupo que toca de todo tipo de música, junto con una cerveza, la playa color azul turquesa a unos metros y el atardecer… una tarde PERFECTA.
Los meseros son muy amables, el servicio fue un poquito lento, pero valió la pena la espera.
Volvería sin duda a este lugar.

This is my favorite spot! Great music right on the beach. Great food and drinks seats in the sand and so close to the ocean.

By far our favorite dinner spot in PDC. Live entertainment, seating right on the beach, rustic tables and chairs, romantic vibe but also suitable for friends too. Pasta is delicious. Had the Fusion Aioli with chicken and mushrooms twice. Very good portions. Fusion margarita very tasty. House wine is surprisingly good as well. Service can be slow. So don’t come if you’re in a hurry. Best tables are to the side of the stage closest to the beach. Speakers/​amps from live bands can be loud for tables right in front of stage. There is a small dance floor which is great for barefoot dancing! Oh and on some nights they have a fire dancer perform right on the beach in front of the tables! Que magnifico!

We stayed at the Fusion several years ago and it was amazing. Stopped by for a drink tonight Dec. 30 2015 and IT’s GONE! Demolished. They’re making the best of it — still serving drinks on the beach from some other bar. But the hotel and bar are no more. Just a big demolished lot. Sad.

We came for breakfast and were disappointed. The breakfast menu is tiny. We were the only ones there and the food took a very long time to arrive. My omelet was not great and did not come as I had ordered it. My wife had the shrimp tacos and enjoyed them. But there are a million amazing breakfast places and so many taco joints in Playa that do both better. We will not return.

Didn’t try the food but the atmosphere can’t be matched. We went on a Friday night and there was a nice reggae band playing. Sipping cocktails and sitting towards the beach with Cozumel in the distance… oh so nice.

My husband and I chose to have lunch at this restaurant twice while in Playa del Carmen.

We enjoyed a great tasting lunch, while relaxing outside with the sound of the sea and music in the background. Service was good, as well. Will return again!

Cancelled our honeymoon reservation 1 hour before checkin. Shame on them. We had a better time everywhere else anyway. Screw this place. Please go somewhere else. Maybe even throw some rocks at the windows when you walk by it for us!

Can’t beat the location and feel. It’s directly on the beach with just a great set up. Chairs and tables are very short and set directly in the sand. They bring out a lantern they place on the table. Great mood setter. Only had the guacamole and ships. Worth it.

This place is fantastic! The atmosphere is top notch. Live music at night and a fire show, very romantic, and right on the beach! We’ve been here twice already and plan to come back before our trip is is over. A must see while in Playa!

Sur la plage, on mange et écoute de la musique (forte?) en regardant l’océan de couleur carte postale. cote cuisine-​un peu de tout, côté prix-​cher, service et ambience sans reproche. on passé un bon moment. j’y vais habituellement en descendant de l’autobus pour bien commencer mes vacances a P del C.

I was thrilled to find Fusion. Their bar and restaurant is right on the beach. It’s has a great vibe and it’s well run. We camped out there drinking cerveza and smoking a cigar until the sun began to set. They had a live band and at night I understand they have fire dancers.

I can’t even begin to tell you what a treat this place is. Located on the beach, this is a great place to come and appreciate Playa del Carmen. The sunset view may be one of the most romantic I’ve ever seen.
The food is great. Get the arrachera steak fajitas.
They have great reggae bands playing and of course the service is super.
A must visit

Free daily fire show at 10pm on the beach. So best to get a table on the beach for best viewing. Each night is a slightly different show performed by the same group. They also have a live band playing good music. When we went they played songs by The Cure and Keane. Packed on weekends as you can imagine. You don’t have to drink or eat to see the show. You can just view it from the public beach. The first night we did that on a weekend because there were no outside tables. The second time was Monday evenings which we arrived at 9:55pm and was able to get a front row table. We just ordered a mojito and a margarita. Both were 90 pesos, reasonably priced but very weak. Service was friendly, great atmosphere. Come for the fire show and live music, stay away from the cocktails.

Fusion is located RIGHT at the beach — and who doesn’t like sipping cocktails/​coronas with their toes in the sand — listening to the waves? This is also the perfect place to eat a light dinner, where you just get a bunch of smaller dishes (starters) and share. Especially the aguachile tostadas are DELISH! The shrimp is so fresh and they are just as spicy as I like them. They are 35 pesos per piece which I find quite cheap. They also have great guacamole.
If you go in the evening there’s sometimes a live band. It’s just so nice to sit outside in the dimmed lights eating and relaxing!
The service is fine, nothing to rave about, but they were polite, nice and didn’t forget us at any point.

Didn’t think I would spend one precious evening of my company vacation in one place, but sure enough our experience at Fusion was a fantastic surprise!
Pros: Location
Right on the beach, and conveniently located from the Cozumel ferry/​cruise boat dock, perfect for people who have just arrived and are hungry!
You can’t mistake it for anything else. It looks like a great lounge/​place to chill on the beach, with a decent DJ and live band.
If you come early enough, and the weather is good, make sure you get one of the few rows on the shoreline to enjoy the view. Not a lot of foot traffic goes through here (as opposed to other parts of the beach) so you really get the feeling you are someplace picturesque. I could have stayed here all night going through bottles of wine and the excellent appetizers.
Food:
If you are patient (cooking staff and server ladies are slow) the food is worth the wait.
Some really remarkable dishes, especially the chicken.
*** Skip the fish. Despite being a town on the beach, Playa del Carmen has crappy fillets.
Try the local food. Do not try the American/​Canadian dishes (like the steak or whatnot). You didn’t come all this way for a taste of home.
Alchohol, when done right here, is strong, so pace yourself.
Cons:
— Servers have not been trained to deal with HUNGRY people, so please be patient.
— They also take their time getting your money back to you. Sometimes that’s a good thing, as it makes you change your mind to enjoy one more drink and stay a little longer (unless you have other places to be).
— Bar staff SUCKS at making any decent cocktail. Mai Tai tasted like fruit juice from a plastic bottle mixed with rum, Apple Martini tasted like a lemon margarita with an apple placed outside, just to appear like an apple martini.

We came here at night. They’re located along the beach, so their outdoor seating is probably best enjoyed in the daytime. Still, they had live entertainers at night (band, bellydancer, rtc.) who play for tips and make coming worthwhile. Their drinks were average priced and tasty, but they don’t seem to have a standard. Like, my friend and I ordered the same drink, but we each got them in different sized glasses (mine was bigger) despite the same prices.

El lugar tiene una ubicación excepcional, una vista maravillosa, comida rica, pero adolece de un buen servicio. He tenido la oportunidad de estar ahí y siempre me pasa lo mismo desde la entrada: me toca una hostess (extranjera siempre) que, o no tiene idea de cómo está la cosa o me trae en la mira… total que siempre he entrado, pero ya con un mal sabor de boca. Sin embargo, también tienen la facilidad de hacer que se me olvide rapidito.
Las mesas en la arena me encantan porque de entrada te quitas las chanclas, tenis o el calzado que lleves y los pies siempre lo agradecen. Los tragos están bien servidos y el menú está bueno. En la noche me tocó un espectáculo de esos con fuego (unas boleadoras, pero en llamas) que ayuda a pasarla todavía mejor. Se puede estar en la parte de adentro o directamente en la playa… es tu elección. Mi mujer se enamoró de uno de los tragos de ahí: Margarita Fusion.

Amé el Fusión. Camastros, sombrillas, buena cocina, ricas bebidas, excelentes precios y lo más importante para un Beach Club, que no te anden presionando para consumir. Los meseros, son unos chavos lindísimos que te sacan plática y tratan de que te la pases súper.
Es un lugarcito de los que quedan pocos en Playa del Carmen, tiene una ubicación privilegiada, en la mera playa y súper céntrico además.
Cuando lo descubrí, acababa de llegar a Playa del Carmen y quería gastar lo menos posible, cada peso me dolía porque todavía no encontraba trabajo, pero pues lo bailado y disfrutado nadie me lo quita, así que tuve que ver la forma de ser pobre y vivir la vida deliciosa del Caribe, así que amé el Fusión. Me pedía mi piña colada o michelada que me duraba toda la tarde y riquísimo, aparte siempre tienen promos, así que a veces hasta me daba el lujo de comer allí y me salía más barato que en la quinta, pero en la playa.
Este lugar te permite darte el lujo de un súper restaurante y bar en pleno caribe al mejor precio.

Este lugar me encanta. Venir a Fusion es como transportaste a algún bar a orillas de la playa en Ibiza España. La vista es extraordinaria y en la noche ni se diga, el reflejo de la luna sobre el mar caribe es maravilloso. Excelente lugar para pasar un rato bastante agradable con buena música, excelente comida, atención de primera. El lugar cuenta con un diseño muy caribeño fusionado con un estilo europeo vanguardista y eso esta de lujo.
Tuve la oportunidad de estar hace poco en su aniversario y fue una verdadera locura la fiesta que se armo. Muchísima gente de muchos países, me encontré con varios amigos y conocidos de Cancún. Fue padrísimo de inicio a fin que nos amaneció. Llegamos como a las 3 o 4 pm y la fiesta nos duró hasta las 8 am. Dj’s invitados como Mike Montaño y el invitado especial para celebrar el aniversario fue nada mas y nada menos que Marco Carola, que prendió la fiesta a todo lo que da. Una experiencia única e inolvidable y ya esperando a que sea fin de semana para lanzarme a Playita del Crimen! Ufff!

Excelente lugar es Fusion Bar & Grill, no puedes pedir nada mas, este lugar lo tiene todo, el ambiente es playero totalmente, caribeño cálido y relajado, puedes venir a tomarte unas chelas y escuchar la música en vivo, puedes venir a cenar ya que tienen un menú muy bueno, no es muy económico, el precio es muy justo, pero la diversión esta garantizada.
La música es variada, el día que fui había una muy buena banda de reggae que prendía a la gente, bailamos toda la noche, vimos el amanecer ahí mismo, es increíble si tienes la oportunidad de hacerlo.
Se que también hay una banda de salsa y otra de rock, seguramente igual de buenas, este lugar debería estar en la lista de lugares a visitar de cualquier viajero o playense, ya que este lugar tiene todo el espíritu playero fiestero y lo sigue manteniendo a través de los años.
Fusion es también un hotel, es moderadamente caro, pero las habitaciones son excelentes, no he podido pasar la noche aquí, es decir en una habitación, pero visité la que tienen de muestra y me pareció estupenda.
El servicio de este lugar es tremendo, tienen a las chicas mas guapas y buena onda de todo Playa del Carmen.

Este hotel-​restaurante es una cosa hermosa, si viajas a Playa del Carmen o vives acá, ve, lo vas a disfrutar, de entrada el lugar está en la playa, lo que todos soñamos cuando pensamos en el Caribe, desde que entras el servicio es excelente, las chicas del lugar siempre tienen una sonrisa, te asignan una mesa lo antes posible (Sólo una vez me ha tocado esperar, no más de 15 minutos).
Si quieres un trago vas a la barra, si deseas cenar prepárate para sentir la arena entre tus pies, con vista al mar, velas en la mesa, música en vivo y una comida deliciosa. El costo no es precisamente accesible pero tampoco es caro, me parece bastante justo por todo lo que tienes y disfrutas. Hay música en vivo todos los días, una mini pista para que bailes, perdón, no puedo dejar de decirlo: ¡VISTA AL MAR!
Mi recomendación: De entrada un Hummus, y después mmm es difícil, creo que todo es delicioso, de hecho cada vez que voy pido algo distinto, y nunca me he arrepentido. Una chela, un Martini, un tequila o el vino de la casa son perfectos para acompañar tus aliementos.
Datos útiles: Ve los jueves o los domingo porque toca una banda de reggae buenísima (vuelvo a lo mismo, soy defeña). Ve los sábados, hay show con fuego en la playa. Pregunta por las promociones, cambian cada mes. También es hotel, ofrece estacionamiento para bicicletas. Es un lugar a la orilla del mar (ideal para una primera cita, ahí tuve la mía y me enamoré, aún más).

Ante los cambios de temperatura de aire acondicionado y el sofocante calor, pasó lo que tenía que pasar, como buena abuela que soy, me enfermé. Pero tengo un grave problema, no puedo estar encerrada en casa y menos sabiendo que afuera está la hermosa playa del Caribe, así que partí con mi kit de pañuelitos en busca de un lugar donde podía unir mi reposo con el paisaje. Llegué al Fusión, un lugar ubicado a la orilla del mar, esquina con calle seis. Con su terraza en la blanca arena, me senté en un camastro con una sombrilla y la mejor vista al mar, además de muchos guapetones que pasaban, que hacían la vista mucha más agradable y entretenida. Se acerca un mesero muy amable y me pregunta qué quiero, yo gangosa pido una naranjada mineral. Estaba muy rica, hasta con los pedazos de naranja, cien por ciento natural. Además, venden según comentarios de la gente, la mejor hamburguesa de Playa del Carmen. Ahí me cuentan si es verdad porque soy vegetariana. Tienen pescados frescos, platillos mexicanos y variados sándwiches, que puedes acompañar con la variada carta de tragos tropicales y cervezas. Me pasó algo increíble, aunque estaba enferma, en el camastro vecino conocí a un chico de muy buen ver y me salió cita. Regresé en la noche y me llevé una gran sorpresa, se transforma en un romántico lounge iluminado íntimamente, acompañado de música en vivo, vista al mar, todo perfecto para armar una gran noche. En resumen me fue bastante bien, así que vayan a conocerlo.
