Mo Mo No Hana

Hands down my favorite restaurant on the Playacar Palace resort. It’s only open evenings for dinner, but you can also get food to go~~~just be sure to tip them a bit.
I tried many items here and everything I had was good the majority of the time. The first time I went here, the sashimi was insanely good — so fresh, like melted in my mouth fresh… like whoa! The next couple times it was A-​OK but nothing like the first time.
Not only can you get sushi but they have a plethora of main entrée options that are the standard Chinese fare like sweet & sour chicken and the like. Plus they have a hibachi grill where you can Oooooh and Aaaaaah as the chefs dazzle and amaze you with their knife skills popping pieces of meat into your mouth Benihana style.
Whenever I see unique things on a menu, I always have to order them even if they seem a bit iffy. One such thing was the Plantain Roll which had cream cheese, imitation crab, avocado and was wrapped in plantain. With all those ingredients, you can imagine just how creamy it was. It was such a unique maki and I thought of it kind of more as a dessert type of roll. Definitely different & unique.
Service here was always on point and food coming out was a lot less slow than at the other sit down restaurant on property. Presentation was always just lovely and the food — best at Playacar Palace!
