Just like most places the deals aren’t as sweet as the US dollar gets stronger against the peso. Monday and Tuesday discount is down to 30% from 50% and the buffet is up to $ 285 from $ 250.

Really love the place is so beautiful and the food is soooo delicious also the people are so friendly there. We went there like 2 times late at night and it was closed didn’t found the restaurant hours anywhere outside so we decided to call for our third time, and found out that monday-tuesday-wednesday they close early like 1030 or 1130 and rest of the week they close at 1 or 2am. But it was worth the wait, would eat there every weekend =D

Get off the Malecon and come here. We loved it. Great value. The service was outstanding. Ambience, food and location are all well beyond expectations.

We have dined at Hacienda Alemana since it first moved into its present location on Basilio Badillo several years ago. We usually choose to dine there on either the Wednesday or Saturday all-you-can-eat German buffet nights — these buffets are a big favourite of ours! But over the years, we have also dined there a few times during May ‘Restaurant Weeks’, and more recently, on Monday ‘special’ nights, and ‘summer special’ nights. All these evenings have provided excellent opportunities for us to see and enjoy much of the wonderful German fare offered at this quality restaurant in Vallarta’s south side.
Some of the food we’ve enjoyed: – buffets — offer a fantastic spread of German and International delights, with all-you-can-drink on-tap beer(light or amber) included — on the tables: soup, selections of breads, cold table of salad makings(including prawns), hot table of potatoes, rice, spaetzel, sauerkraut, beets, pork hocks, and etc., hot table of meats — with schnitzel, ribs, roast beef, bratwurst, pork, and roasted ‘scallions’, peppers, and etc., and a dessert table with cake and hot beverages. So much to see and choose from, and everything so well-prepared and presented. A wonderful buffet, and like no other that we have ever experienced in Vallarta! – example of a Monday ‘special’ we enjoyed — we had the schnitzel dinner — which came with a very tasty and colourful appetizer of marinated marlin, and a pâté, and bread — the entrée included two, breaded schnitzels, spaetzel(our choice), and a bowl of cooked, red cabbage. The whole offering well-prepared and presented, and much-enjoyed. – example of a ‘summer special’ we(as a foursome) enjoyed — a 3-course meal, with choices from three different appetizers, entrees, and desserts — what we enjoyed: beer(on-tap, all-you-want), with nacho chips and salsas, shrimp and meat salads — beautiful to look at, and so tasty/good! — ham hocks, several hocks, served in a very large dish/bowl, cooked to perfection, with tasty sauce and veggies — breaded fish & shrimp, lightly-battered and cooked, fish fillets and several shrimp, with rice and veggies — chocolate mousse for dessert — yum! Hacienda Alemana is a lovely venue(open courtyard, and inside seating), especially after dark, when sitting outside is truly ‘magical’, offering wonderful German and International fare. It has been our ‘to go restaurant’ for a good number of my birthdays, and our anniversaries. Our big thumbs up to Mike, and staff for what they do, and how they do it.
