PV Sea Dive

I’d like to express my satisfaction with Puerto Vallarta (PV) Sea Dive and the crew of Sue Keevil, the owner and Master Instructor for a very fun & enjoyable day underwater recently. I was on a one-​day PV port call off a cruise ship and thanks to Trip advisor was able to locate several dive shops in PV. Sue’s was #1 and her webpage was very useful in helping me to get familiar with the local PV dive spots, marine life to possibly see, excursion options & prices to expect, etc. It also had great online reservation discounts if you buy via Pay Pal (which I did effortlessly).
A BIG factor going with Sue /​PV Sea Dive was her excellent e-​mail responses to my multitude of questions… I REALLY tried not to swamp her with 10 messages daily, but as I had about a 60 minute window between our ship’s intended 08:00 AM PV docking time and all the PV dive shops’ 09:00 AM excursion departure times I was worried I’d make it. Through all Sue was great in advising me every step of the way (i.e., said that if I could be the first off the ship by 0840 or so it was only a 7 minute taxi ride to her boat dock). I ultimately got to her dock by 0830; however, each diver should weigh the risks that their ship may not dock/​disembark on time to make such a short window. I was SO motivated to dive, however, that I risked the no-​refund policy of all PV dive shops if the ship being late make you a no-​show.
I picked the two-​tank «Los Arcos» dive of the «Abajo de Cristo & Punto Mismaloya» sites. The water temperature was an incredible 93 degrees F (!!) which certainly impacted some marine life observations, but as this was my first boat and warm water dive w/​out wetsuit the learning experience was terrific.
Terrific also describes Sue, my personal dive master Chris and the other gal Joey. Our boat captain was really good natured too as you can see in our pictures. SO, in summary if you’re lucky to stop in PV (my favorite Mexican Rivera city of the 5 we visited on this cruise) and are looking for a reputable PADI dive shop with folks who love to have fun … this would be my pick !

Great diving operation. Sue and Mark are fun and knowledgable. The boat is clean and safe. The equipment is well maintained. We had a blast going to Los Arcos. Would absolutely dive with these guys again.

WONDERFUL OPERATION!!! Sue Keevil is the owner — she personally dives with you and shows you the most amazing creatures I’d have missed otherwise! Marc is another of the instructors and he, after learning I’m studying for my dive master certification, offered up some tips and advice on skills and techniques. Carlos, the captain of the boat is a sweetheart with a shy demeanor and eagle eyes! He can spot a dolphin or a whale from miles away and get us to them for a look see! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Personal, friendly professional and safe. Can’t say enough!

Sue is amazing for creating great tours and welcoming her guests about her charter boat. We had her take us out to the marrietas and she prepped us for snorkeing under the dome to see one of the most amazing private beaches. She gots us there before other charters so it was ours to enjoy.
If you want a great time with a collaborative boat charter service, I would first check out Sue and her team. We will definitely use her services again.
