Great food. Excellent atmosphere. We drove in from an all inclusive from playa mita and am glad we did. Love you Gustavo (that’s the owner) thanks for the salsa et. al. And yes, that is the fresh catch of the day, epic.

Gustavo is the perfect host and this place is fantastic!!!

Had an 8pm reservation and didn’t get seated until 8:45, by which time the sun had set and the view was completely gone. That was half the reason we went in the first place. So we waited at the bar and the drinks were good but the bartender was unfriendly.
The food was just OK and the service/​presentation seemed very canned and somewhat insincere. Despite this place appearing to be «special» we found it to be anything but that.

My husband and I love this place! I’ve been to Punta Mita 4 times and always make sure to visit this restaurant. The people are so nice and the food is soooo good! Don’t miss it and go hungry… and thirsty!

A fabulous dinner with a fun casual environment right on the water. They bring you the catch of the day to examine before deciding what you want to have for dinner. The drinks are strong!!! That was nice. I had the shrimp with the anajillo sauce (I think that’s what it’s called). It was amazing. The spouse had the carne asada which he liked but agreed the sauce with mine kicked it out of the park. We started with ceviche and that was tasty as well. Would definitely come back if I’m in the area. My advice leave the resorts for a good meal.

Si Señor was one of the best dinner experiences I had on a recent trip to Punta de Mita.
The authentic Mexican fare spans a variety of cooking styles from traditional to pil pil style (which originates from the Basque region of Spain and is characterized by the main ingredient being cooked in olive oil, garlic and hot pepper).
The entire restaurant is open air with a contemporary and casual feel, and has a stunning view of the Bay of Banderas and the south shore mountains.
The best part: The drinks. Don’t order off the menu here. Just ask your waiter/​waitress to have the bartender make something special. They don’t disappoint. They make some funky fusions of mezcal, pineapple and cilantro that were to die for + the frozen margaritas are a must.

This place has the best drinks, the best fish, and by far the best service. Escape the resorts and eat great authentic food with truly amazing service!

Simply amazing!!! We have been coming here since they opened and it was love at first bite! First of all, they stand by their name. Any special request you have, they make sure to accommodate, no matter how unreasonable! Second, the food is phenomenal, freshest everything possible! I highly recommend coming for lunch and another time for dinner, both experiences are incredible. At lunch the fresh fish are prepared straight off the fishing boats. Even the drinks are prepared freshly in front of your eyes! No fillers, everything is fresh and authentic. The staff is amazing, and Gustavo is the man!!! This is hands down my favorite restaurant in the world!!!

Nice restaurant by the water. If you go I recommend you go earlier during sunset and sit outside by the water. Scenery is beautiful. Food is good and fresh as well.

What a fabulous restaurant! I had dinner at this restaurant with several friends and we had the best time ever. We had delicious fish, awesome mango margarita and tequila, and paid the band to sing our chosen songs for hours. The owner is very friendly and despite the restaurant closing, he allowed our group to continue our evening fun till 1 am! Thank you. We’ll definitely visit SI Señor again!

El señor has a very good setting on the water. It is authentically decorated and offers 360 degrees views of the ocean.
We were greeted by a very friendly staff and throughout the course of our meal were impressed by the service.
We are vegetarians and they accommodated our diet restrictions. The chips and salsa was my favorite. Definitely try it. We had vegetarian enchiladas and it was all fresh and tasted great! It came with a surprise chefs special appetizer and dessert.
Great food, great service, great views/​location. I highly recommend this place.

Outstanding! The customer service was 5 stars. Gustavo and Miguel did an excellent job taking care of our family. We sat right on the waters edge and the Mexican style seafood was delicious. When we come back to punta mita we will definitely eat here again. Super family friendly and the margaritas were perfect for mom and dad!!!

Really wonderful service and AMAZING food! They bring the fresh catch of the day right to your table & explain how you can get it served/​prepared. We got the red snapper (served with fajita topping & fresh tortillas so you can make your own mini burritos-​SO good), grilled butter/​garlic shrimp, coconut shrimp, queso fondido starter (sizzling hot plate with melted cheese served with poco de gallo & homemade tortillas) everything was so delicious.
They even serve you a amuse Bouche & dessert all on the house!
Amazing décor & ambience right on the water. Can’t speak highly enough of this place!

It is as good as everybody says it is. I had shrimp Diablo and it was lovely. Friend had the fanciest coconut shrimp I’ve ever seen. Brought us tamarind ice cream without even asking. So good! Fun wait staff.

On our last day in Mexico, we wanted to have dinner outside of our resort which was in Riviera Nayarit about 45 minutes away from Si señor. So I did my research and my fiancé and I both wanted lobster. This place had amazing reviews so I thought it would be worth the drive & thankfully it definitely was!
We sat right by the ocean and had an incredible view of the sunset.
So since there were very high waves in the ocean previously to our visit at si señor, they informed us that unfortunately they do not have any lobster because the fishermen weren’t able to find any. (Sucked at first!)
But luckily they recommended some other dishes for us to enjoy and they were all amazing! We had the coconut shrimp, the shrimp Al pastor style, 2 types of the catch of the day and incredible margaritas. The pineapple ginger margarita was SO GOOD!!!
I had seriously never eaten fish so so fresh and marinated to perfection anywhere else. I would go back to Mexico just to eat here!

We spent 5 days in Sayulita and decided to take a day trip to Punta de Mita to visit this well reviewed restaurant. So glad we did. Unilocalers seem to forget their apps in Mexico so there aren’t a lot of recommendations, but this one is solid. Thanks international Unilocalers.
We started with the octopus, ceviche, and shrimp taco apps. All were declared excellent. I didn’t like the octopus much, but i was alone on this one. The shrimp tacos were superb — as was the ceviche.
I had the Carne Asada for my main meal and it was incredible. The meat was so tender and smoky — really a spectacular job, with amazingly fresh ingredients surrounding it. If only I had more room to eat it, but after the apps, half of this went back to sayulita, and it was an amazing late night snack too.
My wife had the catch of the day — Grouper. She declared it the best fish she has ever had anywhere, and trust me, that is saying a lot.
Our friend had the Relleno. My only regret here is that i didn’t get one of those to go so i could have it for breakfast the next day. Spectacular.
The service was impeccable. Clearly they care about thier customers here. The entire staff seemed quite involved and caring. The setting was wonderful as well, under the shade of palm trees and very nicely decorated. Even the banos, which can be an issue in Mexico were extremely clean.
Maybe it’s pricey for Mexico, but frankly, I would have expected to spend a lot more for a meal of this quality. I had no complaints at all with our ~$ 100US tab.

We just got back from fishing and we brought in our own fish that they cleaned and prepared for us in the most delicious way. Everything we ate was just amazing. The salsa and guacamole was prepared right in front of us and the fresh and roasted chips were over the top.
This view is one of a kind too overlooking a little bay, the tables lined up under beautiful palm trees. The service was exquisite as well even though on the pricy side. The whole experience though was worthwile

This place is a delicious upscale spot. Worth the drive from Sayulita. Very fresh fish. We all got surf and turf and it was excellent. Their appetizers were to die for!
Fun family tip: in the beginning of the meal they come out and show you the fresh catch of the day.

Fabulous. This is our 5^th year visiting but our first time at Si Señor for dinner last night. It immediately went to the top of our list for return visits (there was even talk about returning for lunch today!).
Just eat whatever the staff recommends — our table of 8 had two delicious tuna appetizers, as well as table side guacamole and salsa.
The catch of the day (paraded by our table for inspection) included red snapper — that the chef prepared with an amazing sauce, and a yellowfin tuna tartare that my husband raved about. I had the Chicken with Mole Poblano. WOW! It had a wonderful complexity of favors with just the right amount of heat and smokiness. My mole bar has just been raised! I was sure I’d have leftovers when I saw the serving, but I inhaled it — and reluctantly shared a little! The Peanut Mole that a friend ordered was also fabulous — a different take on the traditional.
The ambiance is terrific. Not touristy at all. The bar is beautiful — I could easily return for cocktails and appetizers on one of those bar stools.
I don’t know how this compares to other restaurants the parent company runs, but this is definitely a winner.

Enrique was an amazing waiter — everything you could ask for. There was a harpist (amazing talent-​not cheesy) playing while we ate our lunch. They are up about 4 block in the hills from the malecon and next door to café des artistes. Mexican favorite dishes with über fresh ingredients. Drinks are delicious and strong. There is out door seating in the garden or you may sit inside in the AC.
Please you MUST make a stop for lunch or dinner when you are visiting. So hospitable!
