Our family had so much fun! It was worth every peso and if you’re in the area you must put it on to do list. Our tour guide was Ricky, he was very funny and sweet especially with the younger ones. We had the luck of locking our keys in our rental car! He took the time to make sure we retrieved our keys and got home safely.

All I can say is WOW! This was absolutely WONDERFUL… SO glad I stumbled upon this Unilocal review from a previous Unilocaler who went here, otherwise, I would’ve NEVER found it. This was an extraordinary experience that really made my trip. It is the best priced tour for this experience with an excellent staff. Don’t forgot your slip resistant shoes, but all the rest, including wetsuits are included. Literally, all you need to do is show up!

This is your underwater cave adventure location. I went here twice in 2011 and did a different cave tour each time. Fabulous. Such a memorable experience swimming in an underground river, it will be a highlights of your life. Took my son there the second time so he could experience it. Pictures cannot do this place justice(especially mine, haha). Limited size groups to keep it eco-friendly. You can just do the Cavern Tour and stay dry. We did that, but also did the underwater cave tour in the water. Sometimes the ceiling is about 2 feet above the water in the river tunnels between the caverns. We brought our own wetsuits as this water stays pretty cold. I would say that reservations are a must. But our first visit we were looking for Blue something cenote and couldn’t find it. We stopped here to ask directions and had no clue what this place was. We were able to join the tour that was just starting, but the shuttle bus from the hut to the cenote had already left, so we drove the road ourselves. From the hut at the entrance, it is a hairy ride to the cenote down a very long dirt road. We got back out just as darkness fell. You would not want to be caught in the jungle on this dirt road after dark. Extra proceeds from tours go to support the local Mayan territory they operate on as well fund additional explorations. A bucket list item. No kidding.
