Great food and atmosphere just simply overpriced and terrible deceiving charging extra 16% on taxes when in Mexico it is built in in the listed price and it is 10%. Prices are in dollars which is another scam. So disappointing we won’t be coming back and if you go be prepare for that 36% extra when including tip.

Best restaurant in Rosarito! Stayed at Festival Plaza over New Years because Rosarito Beach Hotel was sold out :(. This restaurant is maybe a 5 minute walk from both hotels. Great location in Rosarito.
Menu, staff, ambiance was absolutely perfect. The owner gave us info on best wineries in Ensenada and other local attractions.
Menu was full of fresh, quality local ingredients.
We’ll definitely be back :)

While down in Rosarito for a long weekend getaway, we ate here one night for dinner with another couple. It was the best meal we’ve had in Rosarito, HANDS DOWN. We started with the empanadas & the crab cakes. Both were executed perfectly! We also shared the asparagus & berry salad. Again, perfectly cooked! For entrees, we ordered the ribeye, swordfish & two of us got filet mignon. Of course, all perfect! The service was impeccable too! The restaurant is so cute & the open kitchen is such a cool thing! You can watch them preparing everything! We will definitely be back on our next trip down there!

Nice Bar, but terribly over priced. A shot of Casadores is $ 10 US, and that’s robbery in Rosarita. The food is good, but it also is priced like your in the USA. 3 stars for OK service and nice interior. Won’t return for skimpy over priced shot…

Susanna, Thank you so Much! you went beyond catering our wedding event you made it memorable… truly you were god sent. The food was amazing, your Chef & crew outstanding. We loved everything, You really thought out our mexican buffet it had it all, something for everyone. We got Rave reviews from all our guest. The best quality, taste and portions. Amazing restaurant in Rosarito. Excellent service, great food, ambiance, Susanna’s has it all. This is not your standard Mexican food joint, they have unique appetizers, entrees, and pasta dishes. Mouth watering good. There are restaurants in Southern California that are twice as expensive and not even half as good. Go here and you will not be disappointed.

Huntington Beach, CA
Recommended here by friends and it didn’t disappoint! You walk up to the most beautifully decorated and romantic setting EVER. We decided to sit outside to listen to a very talented man play acoustic guitar (Tears in Heaven by Eric Clapton? YES PLEASE). We started with the jalapeño stuffed Empanada and ohhhhh my goodness. First time having an Empanada, and I will dream about it. Then we had the Pork Chops, and that sauce… YUM. I love a hint of spicy. Owner is incredibly nice and welcoming as well. Service was also excellent. I will return to Rosarito to visit this place again.

Where to start? The service is always attentive, the food fabulous and the desserts are amazing.
Susanna, the owner makes sure the food is always done to perfection so you can’t go wrong ordering, but my personal favorites are the Baja Chicken and the Asparagus Salad. Not many restaurants have dishes that you absolutely find yourself craving and cannot get anywhere else, but Susanna’s has several.
Her wine list is extensive and you can dine inside or out in the courtyard. If you are having dessert, the lemon cake with sauce is addictive!

Susanna’s is my favorite restaurant in Rosarito. A quick bite or a evening of fine dining… they have it all. And the quaintest look, feel and ambiance you’ll find in Baja. I’ve probably eaten here 10 times and I’ve NEVER been anything but completely satisfied. I usually order the steak and they have some VERY cool salads as well.
Tip: If you’re a red wine fan… order anything by LA Cetto winery. Good stuff and it’s grown and bottled in the Guadalupe Valley about 50 miles from there.

I am so impressed. It really made my weekend, to eat such impressive food during my mexico vacation. I loved the cilantro shrimp pasta and pablano shrimp pasta. Super friendly staff and delicious food!

This is the 3rd time eating here. Very, very nice. Ambience is beautiful and décor is lovely. The kitchen is right off the entrance with granite countertops and looks like a high end home kitchen and not a messy commercial kitchen where you cannot see the chefs prepare your meal. We had the blue cheese vinaigrette salad and mint-​lamb (thin slices of lamb leg), and the blue cheese fettuccine with grilled chicken. Both dishes were wonderful! They like to make the dishes with a lot of «fruit»… Strawberries, sliced green apples, grapes. We will return on our next visit for sure!

You walk into a beautifully decorated place where the kitchen is a part of the restaurant, so you feel like you are at home!
