Tony’s Place

Tony’s Place was just fantastic. Roberto was so nice and his service fantastic. My fish tacos and quesadilla were best I have had. My brother said his grilled cabrilla made his top fresh fish dishes EVER!!! Fresh fruit, veggies and treats for sale. Enjoy!!!

Located near the marina, Tony’s Place is a little road-​side restaurant serving the best of what you expect from traditional Sonoran style cuisine. Our server, Jim, recommended the Pozole. Jim was very attentive and likeable, plus he was wearing a University of Arizona hat! That’s a plus being from Tucson! While I do not have a lot to compare it to, the pozole was excellent. The broth was full of flavor and on the spicy side while the chicken soaked up that flavor. I definitely recommend Tony’s Place.

Really great street tacos at great prices. The tacos were larger than those at some of the others established places. The beer was cold and also cheaper than some of the larger palapa bars. We will definitely be back.

Tony has done it again! Many of us know Tony for having the best produce in San Carlos on his truck. Now he and has family have opened a great little restaurant right at the main intersection in San Carlos. Yes you can still get delicious, homemade Pico de Gallo and the best fresh squeezed Orange Juice in town from Tony’s, but now you can enjoy lunch and dinner made to order in this delightful open air place. We enjoyed a feast of tacos, some shrimp, some carne asada and some fish, but only after enjoying a special ceviche served in a fresh coconut shell made by Tony’s son, who has a stand out front.
On another night we ordered Chili Rellenos to go, and they were AMAZING!
Tony and family and staff are wonderful people and the food here is not only delicious but REASONABLY priced.
DON’T GET RIPPED OFF by the other taco stands in town-​GO TO TONY’s!
