Green Goddess

Was in the Los Cabos area back in March and was looking for a café or store that had organic groceries and/​or prepared food. Green Goddess was most certainly the find of our entire trip as the area in general doesn’t have too much in the way of organics! The prices for the prepared food were very reasonable for what you get, particularly, their organic salads and yummy smoothies. My family and I had their smoothies almost everyday for breakfast on our way out to our daily adventure!
It’s right outside of San Jose del Cabo and easily accessible off of Highway 1 though you will need to keep your eyes peeled for it as it’s in one of the small plazas tucked off the highway. Heading north on 1, it’s on the right hand side just past the Coral Baja resort.
The owner, Kristen, and her staff, Maria are both ex-​pats from Canada and are as nice as can be! Maria cooks up some of the yummiest organic, raw food and desserts that we ate frequently during our time there. They have a solid selection of organic groceries if you want to pick up to eat in and cook (e.g. cereals, pasta and sauces, bread, etc.) though the prices are a tad less economical and rivals the states.
So if you want a break from the traditional Mexican cuisine and all the local mariscos available, definitely go pay the Green Goddess a visit! We’re looking forward to going back the next time we’re in Cabo!
