Splitting this one down the middle and calling it a 3-star experience. Here’s my +/-list for the experience: + The octopus ceviche was a generous portion and simply delicious! + Great service! + Off-street parking is always a plus. — We brought in fresh tuna that we had caught two days earlier. The chef offered two preparations and horribly overcooked both. — The two preparations were virtually indistinguishable from one another with the exception of the addition of copious amounts of garlic. The way they were described led me to believe they would be much different. — The total amount of fish that hit our plates looked nothing like the amount we brought in with us initially, even allowing for lots of trimming. –A few of the pieces still had large amounts of bloodline attached which really makes me question the competence of the chef in a seafood restaurant. In general, the preparations both sounded and looked better than they were executed.

Fantastic cerviche and whole fried fish. Camerones Diablo also very good. Friendly staff and true Mexican food. We eat here every visit to Cozumel.

Eat like the locals! This restaurant cannot be missed. Sure, it’s easy to find the restaurants close to the ship, but then you’re stuck with mediocre food because someone’s been slipped a few extra bucks to bring you there. Do yourself a favor and use those two tools your creator gave you to trek down to this fantastical restaurant. And when you do, try the fish ceviche, grilled octopus, and guacamole. You won’t regret it.

My husband and I enjoyed the seafood platter: octopus, squid, conch, lobster, shrimp and mani mahi. Before the meal we were served crisp chips with a very spicy habanero salsa and a tasty combo of tomatoes, onions, cilantro, lime and salt. Carlos, our waiter, was very accommodating and tolerant of my poor Spanish. The walls are covered with colorful paintings of the local marine life. If ever we are back in Cozumel, we will try this restaurant again.

The seafood platter was delicious. Nice way to try unusual seafoods. More than enough for 2.
