As hot as bisquets out of the oven, crazy lines and a long wait are still a norm at the newish location in Querétaro. After three or four tries to establish a franchise in the city, all of which have failed, Los Bisquets is betting on the massive exodus of defeños in the last years with the hope that it will finally make the restaurant a permanent one.
Service is still slow and the server’s hands are still shaky when pouring milk into your café lechero, but it is understandably still part of the kinks present during the first couple of months. However, the bisquets are still ‘lardily’ delicious, and the coffee is prime for dunking.
Only time will tell if Los Bisquets will be a fixture in Querétaro or if it will go the way of its predecessors. In the meantime, if you plan on being here for breakfast, make sure you come early or with ample time to wait for a table.
