I recently visited Baja Dentistry in Tijuana.
I was really impressed with the service I received on three fronts. The office had all the equipment of a clinic in the U.S.A or Australia, the dentists were professional, and the clinic was frequented by many locals.
The equipment
My dentist used an intra-​oral camera to show me where I had cavities and where he had placed the resin fillings. Another dentist in the clinic used a machine to measure the depths of the pockets in my gums and made me a night-​guard to take home the same day to reduce the effects of my teeth-​grinding.
Professionalism
After visiting a hygienist and dentist in the U.S.A I was told that I needed to have all four quadrants in my mouth cleaned and scaled at a cost of over $ 1,000. My dentist at Baja Dentistry didn’t think my mouth required that extensive cleaning. He cleaned the areas below the gum-​line that needed it and recommended a gingivitis mouth wash. It’s less than two weeks later and the inflammation in my gums has reduced significantly and my gums are holding much closer to my teeth. The cost of the clean and mouth wash that I purchased from a nearby pharmacy was less than $ 60. The other impressive part about this is the dentists suggestions were the same as my periodontist and hygienist in Australia.
Local clientele
One of my concerns about visiting a dentist in Tijuana was that I might be visiting a place that offered a second rate dental service to gullible people north of the border. I soon realized that this wasn’t the case. I was the only patient in the clinic that didn’t speak fluent Spanish. Everyone else spoke Spanish. I was able to speak to one of the other customers. A lady that had grown up in Tijuana but now lived in California. She told me how she had been a regular patient at the clinic for many years and was very happy with the service provided to her and her family.
I will definitely be going back to Baja Dentistry for my regular check-​ups and I’ve already recommended the clinic to some of my friends in California.

I have been going to this dentist for 4 years now! They are great! Very professional sanitary and they are extremely knowledgable. I trust them completely. Before I started coming here I had not had any dentistry in 10 years! At first I was scared to get dentist work in Tijuana especially after all the rumors of Mexico. But baja dentistry Was very patient in explaining all the work I needed done and considerate of my tight budget. Even though I flaked or was late on a few appointments they were always nice, understanding and ready to fit me into the schedule. Coming here and getting my dental work done here instead of the USA has saved me easily over $ 5000! I went to many dentist in the USA to make sure what they were telling me here was correct and sure enough every dentist in the USA said the same thing but tried to charge me 2 or 3 times as much! I am so happy with the dentist and the staff here and I can’t wait to continue my journey to beautiful teeth! Thank u!
P.s if your scared of the dentist and pain don’t worry! They are very gentle and always make sure to check on you and numb the areas they are working on if necessary!
