Carnes Asadas en Su Jugo Navarrete

Guadalajara is a very well known place for «carnes en su jugo» which is meat cooked in their own juice served with beans and home made tortillas. Navarette is well known for it so we decided to try it while in Tonala, Jalisco. You get immediately greeted and seated by their staff. Our server was very customer service oriented and pleasant. We ordered a sangria pitcher which was good but was missing some whiskey in it. The meat was perfectly cooked and not greasy at all (which can be an issue while eating carnes en su jugo). Tortillas were home made and delicious. They brought some totopos to the table with chips which surprisingly were not home made, great guacamole, beans and salsa. Finally we ordered a quesadilla which was made traditionally with corn it was good but not to crave for. I have not tried carnes en su jugo in other place in Guadalajara but my friend from there said there were good. A place worth visit while in Tonala. BTW they have an outside beautiful seating area.

Excelente lugar, el ambiente es perfecto, la musica mexicana con un volumen ideal para hacer de tu estancia un momento increíble. la comida deliciosa todo tiene el sabor exacto! El servicio es muy bueno, y rapido, yo comí sarape y estuvo delicioso, simplemente es un lugar que cuando estés en Tonala vale la pena visitar.
Te quedarás con un buen sabor de boca, conocelo y seguramente lo recomendaras como yo.
