Excellent Beijing Roast Duck! You have to order beforehand(approx 40 mins) but it is worth the wait! They bring the duck out to your table and fillet it in front of you. The 2 course duck has always been a show stopper and they have a bunch of other classic dishes which are delicious.

It’s all about the Duck, bout the duck, no chicken. Carved at your table and in pancakes with hoisin sauce — pure heaven. Add some dishes to the lazy Susan — Butter prawns, Pepper Beef, Cumin Lamb(although not a typical Chinese spice), Bacon beans, Lemon chicken(the 2nd star of the night) and Sweet & Sour Pork. The chewy Boy Choy is the only thing I didn’t like. Apparently — Spinach I later was told is better. I spied Pork belly at another table — damn I didn’t get that. I was ordering on behalf of my group of 11 and thought I covered the menu well. We were all full and it only cost $ 20.60pp. Watch the head lady — she’s incredible, she spies you from the counter waving the waiter over to add another dish and she wastes no time scribbling that down on your bill. They churn thru the customers like a well-oiled wheel. I have now been 3 times and I recommend you get down there.

Absolutely love this restaurant. My family and I have been dining here for 4 years nearly every school holidays. The kids love the food. Staff are very friendly and they even let me charge my phone so I could snapchat more photos of the kids lol definitely recommend to all. Drinks incl wine is BYO!

Pro Tip: call 45mins in advance and book a table and the duck, so as you’re seated the duck arrives perfect to dig in to as a starter/main… duck is carved tableside and served with perfect flour wrappers, cucumbers, spring onion and hoisin sauce(which never feels like enough) $ 48 — ideal for 3 or more because for two, you won’t get to try much else This is one of those dingy little Chinese eateries that doesn’t pride itself on décor or ambiance(but at least this one tries… but still comes up a little short), and certainly doesn’t care much about service…(unless you speak Chinese, even then… don’t get your hopes up) but you come for the food, and leave impressed that it cost you less than you’d expect. other highly recommended dishes is the eggy«pancake» bread,
