Blanc

Blanc is a bit of a boutique alcohol store located on Lincoln Road in West Auckland.
This store is unlike your average liquor shop. For one it is big, spacious, beautifully presented and clean. Another key difference is the huge selection of wines, spirits and boutique beers. Finally, the service you are offered at Blanc is superb — not how you would usually describe your visits to your local liquor store.
Every kind of beer imaginable can be find at Blanc — from locally produced brews to relatively unknown foreign brews, this place has it all. As well as a great variety of wines (some cheapies, but mostly good quality drops), and all the usual spirits. I recently got a few of those hand-​painted Mexican tequila skulls from Blanc and they went down a treat with my friends!
As well as supplying a huge range of alcoholic beverages, knowledgeable and friendly staff also greet you at the door to Blanc, and the whole place is just inviting. You actually feel welcome in this alcohol store — imagine that!
Bonus: There is heaps of customer parking available onsite, so don’t worry about trying to find a carpark on busy Lincoln Road

I never used to drink wine until I started working at a hotel. As part of my role I had to attend training sessions about wine and beer and durinf these sessions we would try all the wines and beers. I have since left the job but my love for wine hasn’t left. I can drink wine for any occasion and just love trying different wines.
So when my boyfriend and I decided to go into blanc instead of the local liqour we were in for a pleasant surprise. When I walked in I was in wine heaven and I immediately fell in love. I walked around admiring everything in sight then I started talking to the staff member. He was helpful and knew a thing or two about wine which was impressive. I walked out with some wine and a smile, I will be returning blanc for a refill.
