I find the the Bunnings Warehouse staff really helpful when you go in with a DIY problem. From painting to gardening they have guys(mostly) who are willing to give you the time to sort out a solution. I really like their garden section — not just for plants but also a really good range of pots, mixes and things like stones etc.

No joke. The block has made Bunnings seem cool to me. I used to think it was just for hardcore DIYers and but now I seem to find a reason to go to every weekend. Last weekend it was for spray paint and then this weekend it was for twine… I mean, seriously… As others mentioned, the staff here are really friendly, just like they are on the show. Clearly, they’re not just putting it on for TV, which is cool. And they have a great knowledge of the store, considering how big it is. I asked a girl that couldn’t of been a day over 18 where i’d find pebbles and she gave me exact directions including the isle number. What a champ.

I love Bunnings. Do you remember, as a kid, that fresh paper smell whenever you got a new stationary order at school? I get that feeling whenever i step into Bunnings. First of all unless you’re a die hard expert, you do a cursory exploration of no more than five minutes before asking someone. Yes it’s a practically a man cave and asking for directions is against a creed, but in this case it will get you to the goodies faster. The staff are so helpful, you can interrupt anyone and they just smile at you and don’t show the levels of frustration associated with constant interruptions. I had to return something recently and it took around 20 seconds to arrange. Bunnings in Glenfield has great parking and is really well located, the place is clean and they almost always have a mass of checkout staff to ensure you can use more of your day. If you’re looking for DIY this is the place

I recieved a level of service when I last visited this store that is really worth mentioning. We were moving out of a flat and we discovered a small hole in the hallway wall. Not really knowing what we needed to fix it, we drove down to this Bunnings. When we first walked through the front door we were greeted by a genial lady who asked if we needed assistance. We explained to her our problem, and she referred us on to one of her colleagues. This man walked us around the store telling us what to buy and how to use it. Superb service.

Bunnings I think is great competition to Mitre 10, and its good for us as we can enjoy better prices. Overall I find that Bunnings seem to have better prices than Mitre 10 and for the same or very similar products. The staff here and at other Bunnings are very helpful and are nearly always willing to help with your DIY project or help you find what you are looking for. As they do sell a lot of stuff and sometimes what you are looking for can be hard to find, they pretty much sell just about everything you need for your house or garden is here the list is just massive, from garden stuff, paint, lighting, curtains, tools, outdoor furniture and on and on. My husband loves this place so much he always makes some excuse to come to Bunnings. I just wish they had a better coffee place like the Columbus at Mitre 10. Its true lowest prices are just the beginning…

Ok I realise a lot of you might think Bunnings is just like every other hardware, garden, homeware place. But I am here to say, no, it is not. I don’t frequent these sorts of places a lot — generally just for random bits and pieces, blanket fort decorations and presents for dad. But the thing I love about Bunnings is the service. There is always someone standing at the entrance greeting you like a friends and asking straight off the bat if you are all good. I really appreciate this, because a lot of people are in a big hurry(especially around Christmas) and you don’t have to waste time looking for someone. Once you get in there, the place is massive. There is everything you could ever need for everything inside and outside the home. A couple of times I’ve walked past the person at the front thinking I knew my stuff, and then i didn’t. Every single staff member that i’ve come across in every Bunnings i’ve been to is beyond helpful. And they are all in such a good mood! It makes me want to do more DIY… but then i leave and forget about that
