Cute little café in Meadowbank. It’s on the way to the train station from the main road.
The place– in a quiet neighborhood. The café has one large table for 8 people, some bar stools, and a few 2 people tables. There is a back room with a small play area. Has some books and toys. Has quite a bit of echoing in this area. Restroom outside is very clean.
The coffee– Allpress coffee. Has cold and warm drink options. The flat white I ordered was well made, silky taste, not burnt.
The food– still waiting to try!
The service– friendly, helpful.

Cirrus opened yesterday. It’s run by the thoroughly lovely Yoshimi. They serve AllPress coffee, have indoor and outdoor seating, and offer a full cabinet of food. There’s also a small play area for the littlies.
Perfect for runners/​walkers doing the Orakei Basin loop (there’s a bowl of water outside for the pooch), or commuters riding from Meadowbank Train Station. Current hours are Monday to Friday 7am — 3pm.
