I’m not a Scrooge by any means, but I find it hard to spend big bucks at a restaurant. So for my birthday I decided that we should take fine dining to the top level, and spoil ourselves to a night at Dine, by Peter Gordon.
The food was out of this world, and the staff was friendly and good. It was not as stuffy as we feared, and they presented me with a birthday treat that was absolutely memorable. We went all out, and enjoyed 3 courses, with the duck being the star of the evening.
The atmosphere was a bit mute, but this could be due to us dining earlier than normal to accommodate our baby.
