A cheap and cheerful place, East is absolutely fantastic!
After walking down the streets of Ponsonby window shopping, the munchies hit me. I was searching for something delicious yet affordable and thought to myself «fat chance of that, you are in Ponsonby.» But alas I walked past East and the aroma enticed me and I found myself ordering.
I did not know what to expect and as everything was ranging from $ 10-​$ 15 I was a tad on the skeptical side. Once again I was surprised when a HUGE bowl of Hawaii chicken was put in front me. I thought it was a one of thing but I looked next to me and my boyfriend’s plate was almost overflowing with Tom Yum Soup.
I could not finish the meal and to be frank my tastebuds had climaxed and resigned! You know you have enjoyed your meal when you have the left overs the next day for lunch and it tastes just as good as it did the night before
