We came here for a team building exercise for work. It was a little hard to find but nevertheless once we got there the staff members were really helpful and made sure everyone understood the rules and safety procedures before commencing. We found it quite challenging and used up all three of our hints and had to go over time :(however everyone escaped the rooms and no one was miamed in the process: P

Deep in an unmarked office building on Queen St is a hidden gem. First you have to find the way in. Then you have to find the way out. At least the latter is aided by a number of clues and puzzles, all of which take about 50mins to do. Work fast, play like a team, time is running out and if you aren’t an escape master then you may well be stuck there for life. $ 15 – 20 each depending on the size of your group. Good value and good fun!

Escape Masters — what a hoot. Try this for some Team building or just a fun time with your mates. Groups can be as little as 2 or as much as 8. You have to complete your escape (from Gangsters, Aliens, Zombies or try the Rescue mission or Cyber crime) within 50 minutes. Solve the puzzles, get the clues and find the keys, answer the riddles and beat the baddies. Centrally located on mid Queen Street. It feels like you’re entering some secret VIP club or Mafia underground. You have to wait outside for them to see you on the monitors and come down to get you. All that’s missing is the secret knock and code word. The only thing I think they could do better is upgrade a few of the props and clues as a few things were damaged in our room. I can’t think of anything better to do with $ 20 on a rainy cold Winter’s night. Get there or be square.

A fun event for a group of friends. For 50 mins you’re locked in a room searching for clues, solving puzzles, cracking codes and unlocking padlocks while racing against the clock to free yourself. Talk about team work! Three different levels, from easy to hard and some other scenarios to tempt you back. Top of Queen Street.

What a game! I wish I could just spill all the minute details about why you want to go play this game but unfortunately I’m sworn to secrecy otherwise you won’t be able to enjoy the game or satisfaction of winning
Basic premise: ESCAPE from a locked room in 50 minutes using puzzles and clues in the room for the exit door lock– easy, medium, hard/​X-​hard level with different themed rooms. You get three ‘ask for help’ clues.
Super interactive, hands-​on, thinking and group play. Love the feeling when you find or solve a clue or someone on your team does and you’re one step closer to the exit. Highly highly recommend– super great indoor activity for the coming rainy season. Must try at least once, I say!
