Father Rabbit is the absolute best. It seriously turns me into a gushing 16 year old. They’ve got beautiful, beautiful homewares, candles, children’s clothing and there’s a small amount of adult clothing too.
This store is larger than their Ponsonby one and is located inside Bloc, which is dangerous in itself. But back to F. R, the brands they stock are all seriously stunning — lots of whites, neutrals and soft pastels… it’s my dream to make my house look like this one day…
Not surprisingly, Father Rabbit has become my go-​to for gifts. It isn’t outrageously expensive and they’ve got a wide range of products, something for everyone. Check it out next time you’re in Mt Eden… the ultimate one stop shop.

Raaaah! Easily one of my favourite places in Auckland, I seriously envy the owners life because she gets to spend her days in the beautiful villa where this shop is located, surrounded by all the breath taking objects. I don’t have my own house yet, but I love purchasing things for when I do, e.g. kitchen utensils, linen, storage boxes, cleaning items, cookware just everything. And Father Rabbit has all of these things in my style! Minimalistic, white, soft just generally stunning really. The shop is part of her house, one side of it to be exact. So they live on one side and work in the other… cool! Everything is white, even the floors and just so pretty, I know I keep saying that but it is. If you love homely, pretty items that you can’t get readily over here then you have to go and have a look, please!
