Generator

I’ve been a casual member of the Generator for over a year now and absolutely love it. It ticks all the boxes… central location, helpful & friendly staff, great social events. Not too mention, the other businesses that are in there are rad — totally down to collaborate which for a one man band like myself is awesome.
They’ve also got a decent bar and and plenty of spaces that can be hired for events!

This is a co-​working space that would make most office workers green with envy. With amazing interior design, it’s an environment that sits comfortably between «serious corporate» and «creative fun». Co-​working memberships are offered on multiple levels with some well known local businesses having a permanent office and individuals having a permanent or casual membership that entitles them to different kinds of access. The casual membership at $ 160 per month is great value, offering access to a communal lounge area that is more akin to a café.
I love working in cafes, as I like the ambient sound, but I hate the distraction and the feeling of guilt if I sit there for too long. This is the perfect solution. I was lucky to be given a free day trial but would gladly be a member here if I lived and worked in Auckland.
