We feel so privileged to have access to this lounge. Unfortunately this is apt to be our last visit as my husband has recently retired. Food is varied depending on time of day but always the offerings appeal. Tonight it was a great selection of salads; mains were penne, bolognese, wok’d veg; and a huge assortment of drinks, desserts, cheese, crackers… It was relatively quiet, too, as we’re on a late flight. Bön voyage!

Very comfortable and pretty decent food and beverage selection. You can get a shower, catch up on email, doze off in a corner, although you better set an alarm because it’s hard to hear any announcements about boarding and departure, and while you are being pampered by all this, it’s easy to miss your flight. If you do, just go to the desk in the lounge for rebooking. Hell, you could live here if you had to.

The Auckland Air NZ lounge is large with lots of things to do, eat and drink. My favourite thing about this lounge is the barista made coffee and the iPad that you order from. You select the exact coffee you want on the iPad(type of coffee, single/double shot, type of milk, take away/have here) and watch the cup slosh around the liquid, when you are done you enter your name and it will give you an estimated wait time. During peak times this can get to 15 – 20 minutes, so it is good to order straight away if you see a crowd. Food is about average, occasionally there will be something great but normally it will be the usual spread. Drinks are the usual nice selection of beer and wine, soft drink fountain and juice. The shower block is quite nice, full separate rooms with shower, toilet, towels and pump soaps. The standard bathrooms are a bit dated and could use a revamp. There are lots of different seating areas, a large TV area, a dining area behind it with tables and chairs, plus a lot more quieter seating areas throughout. There is also a separate kids room with a TV, Xbox, toys and a couple of PSPs. If a movie isn’t playing just ask one of the staff walking around and they will put something on.

Sometimes very busy, but a very good selections of drinks and food with a very decent quality free Wi-Fi and also a quiet area with no phone. Nice before a long travel.

This place seems to have improved over the past 6months, although the inside hasn’t changed, they have improved in many other ways. Service is really good, even to the point that the Staff comes around and offers to get people another drink The barista is good at making coffee, you order it from an IPad mounted near the barista and it gives you an ETA of when your coffee will be ready They have added a gluten free section with some snacks on it(although I do not need to eat gluten free products, I find this is a good addition for those who do) Can get quite busy, but there is a lot of Seats around without making it feel like you are sitting at school.

Meh not the best Lounge I’ve ever visited. ON my departure day it was really crowded and a TON of small children and noisy travelers on cell phones. I noticed the«cell phone free» zone far too late. Also a serious lack of power outlets. I had to scout out a seat near an outlet and then wait for the existing traveler to leave and jump up to snatch his barely vacated seat to charge my cell and Kindle. The food was ok, not great but not awful. I left before it was necessary to catch my flight to escape the din of families. I think this lounge was overcrowded and in need of some upgrades…

Always a pleasure never a chore. Friendly staff. Easy to get around. Perfect for work or relaxing. Food depending in the time of day can be good but mostly room for improvement. Overall positive experience and can’t complain.

Wow. What a great club room! Forget buying overpriced and under flavored food court items… the buffet in this clubroom is TOPNOTCH. Unlimited complimentary food, drinks, even alcoholic beverages are available here. The staff is friendly, there are lots of outlets for charging and recharging electronics, plenty of places to rest and regroup.

Heading to the Koru Lounge is something I look forward to as part of my airport experience. No more buying gross and expensive foodcourt food and hanging out waiting in a loud bustling airport! Now I can hang out in reasonably quiet and comfortable location, with unlimited complimentary food and drinks available. Well, I say complimentary, but I suppose if I actually divided my Koru membership fee by the number of flights I do a year(not terribly many), then I might be surprised at how much each meal is actually costing me… and actually come to think of it, the last few times I’ve been, the food selection hasn’t been as great as it used to be. Regardless, it makes travel much more comfortable, and makes me feel very lucky to have great services available. The bathrooms especially are always very nice, with showers — perfect if you’ve been on a long flight and have time before your next flight. Also, it is very convenient that I’m allowed to bring in another traveller, plus on the odd occasion that my children are travelling with us, they are allowed in too, so it’s very very exciting for them.

We went to the Auckland International Airport Koru Lounge before a family trip to Australia. And it was awesome. Even though we weren’t travelling far, it made travelling so much easier. It was so nice to be able to sit in a comfy chair and not be on our feet for hours before our flight. They had lots of food set out for people to eat and even made me some gluten free toast to go with my breakfast. This was a real change from fatty McDonald’s I normally have before a flight. You can also go take a shower if you needed to and there’s wifi for you to use. The staff were really friendly, helpful and are what make me love travelling with Air New Zealand.
