Laser Plumbing

I’ve used Laser Plumbing three times and every time they’ve been fantastic. Came as quickly as I wanted them, got the work done and charged a fair price. I initially thought that as they were a chain, they’d charge more than your average plumber due to higher overheads etc, but all three times the bill has been less than expected. The plumbers are great and explain things well so you don’t feel you’re getting more work done than you actually need. Highly recommend them, best plumbers I’ve used so far in Auckland.

Getting my bathroom renovated. Got these guys to come in and install the shower mixer etc. It took them like 4 visits to do a simple shower install.
Day 1 — installed it quick as. But the plumber never checked his work, there’s no hot water.
Day 2 (second visit took a whole week — cause they’re busy) — but try not having a shower for a whole week, luckily we have family close by. Fixed the hot water problem, but again plumber didn’t check his work. The pressure on the shower was like dribbling out, and if you turn the mixer slightly to adjust the temperatures it goes completely cold.
Day 3 — after I got on the phone with the plumber again saying what happen mate? He said he’ll come back and fix it. How does that work — half pie job? Hoping I wouldn’t notice the shower is not working?
Day 4 — calls me up in the afternoon and say we tried everything by the books and the shower is still crap. I just couldn’t help myself, it was working perfectly before the reno, and the other mixers in the same bathroom all works. So I told him go and get a more senior plumber. Because this was 330pm on a Friday, if they don’t get it done today, we’ll have to go without a shower for the whole weekend again.
Finally got a working shower after all the back and forth… Such a pain to organise someone to be on site for them for repeated visit.
Find another plumbing service these guys got way too big and now the workmanship and customer service suffers. They are definitely not do it right the first time motto.
