Oporto has become the kinda’ newer and slightly cheaper version of Nandos for my family. We still enjoy Nandos but Oporto offers quite similar things for cheaper. They don’t use peri peri, but they do use some kind of other spice in their sauce, and the chips are also seasoned with the same kind of thing which makes them sooo yum.
Naturally, I always get the veggie burger which is really good and my sister and dad enjoy the chicken one however the small ones are really small and probably not worth the money. Probably better to just get a normal sized one.

Sometimes burger places are delicious, other times they are processed junk. Oporto has a happy medium. I love the spices they put into their sauces, and their chips always taste yummy enough to gobble up before you even get started on the burger.
The Sylvia Park one is a bit shifty — I always order their $ 8 bondi burger meal, and they always charge me $ 11 initially — upsizing without asking. I have to say I absolutely hate this technique. Why not ask first instead of assume I wanted two pieces of chicken instead of one? It’s made me a bit wary of going, even though it’s usually a convenient spot to grab a burger from. So always double check the prices here, and ask them if they charge you more.
