Nestled just off to the side of the food court with a small outdoor area, this is probably the best choice if you are coffee desperate and laden with shopping bags. The cabinet selection is normally pretty good with lots of savoury and sweet choices(all the usual suspects). There’s also a small blackboard menu. Friendly, efficient service in a mall setting.

Basic but good range of food. Allpress coffee beans. Service alright, is just a café. My plate would not sit flat on the table so chased it around when eating. Good advice to sit away from the food court.

Am a fan of this café/restaurant! Have been a few times and always enjoyed it. Have yet to come here for dinner– but need to find a reason to. I’m sure it will be as good as their brunch and afternoon food. Like the indoor and outdoor split area for seating. Outdoor is great for the summertime or when the sun is shining. Impressed by thei range of food in their cabinet(which look beautiful) and on their menu to order. Was mighty impressed by their Toasted Muesli & Fresh Fruits which was simple but tasty with toasted nuts & oats with honey, fresh fruit & yoghurt. Have seen friends order some really great looking savoury food which I am eager to try– as it looks beautiful as well as tasty! Have also had a nice hot chocolate here and a decent caramel milkshake. Great place– very handy to have in the mall if you want real food!

Shopping needs fueling, and this is a great place to make sure you can shop and don’t drop. It’s a cute café on the skirts of the food court. So is perfect if you can’t face good ol’ greasy Maccas. They serve a menu and have lots of great cabinet food. My aunty and I went there for a coffee date and it was really nice. One side of the café does open up to the food court, so we always try sit on the other side or otherwise it’s really nice sitting outside. You just want to make sure you feel like you’re sitting in a café when you’re paying café prices! The staff are really helpful and even stood by the table next to ours for ages while the person went to the bathroom. That’s dedication! It’s a great place and I really want to try their Mairangi Bay Café soon too.

The Paper Moon restaurants are officially part of a franchise, and as most people should know by now, I’m not a fan of chain stores. But the Paper Moon restaurants each maintain their own identity, and what you get at one branch, might differ completely to that of another. I regularly set up meetings and friendly get togethers at this conveniently located restaurant. More of a bistro slash coffee shop, it is ideal for a lunchtime feed. They make the best salt and pepper calamari, and if you’re lucky, you can be there when they add the beef Wellington to the menu. Each portion is served with a generous helping of fresh salad, and you can finish your meal with any of their flavour filled coffees. By far the best restaurant at the mall.

I went to this lovely little restaurant after going to the cinema in Albany one night. They’ve got a great promotion where if you show them your cinema ticket for that night, they give you 15% off your bill. It’s really great value for dinner, costing between $ 15.50 for an entrée to $ 25 for a main meal and they’ve got a great selection to choose from. I had the pumpkin and spinach ravioli, which was amazing. I found that a lot of the dishes were a bit out of the ordinary, so it was a welcome change to the usual chain restaurants that are everywhere in the city. They’ve got a great selection of wines for around $ 8.50 a glass, so it really is the perfect place to come, sit in the heated outside area and watch the sun go down.
