Ray Phillips Centre

I came here every Wednesday evening for a few years during those oh so awesome high school years, when I was on the Badminton team. There were a lot of funny memories made here, which really puts the place in a positive light when I think about it now.
It’s a big centre, with 6 courts in total, and a platform up top where you can observe the games, put your stuff in cubbyholes or buy chips/​snacks/​drinks from the little canteen there. The downstairs area adjoining the courts has a changing room, mirrors and showers, as well as the courts themselves. The courts are just like any badminton court really, not too much to remark upon.
The cool thing about our time here was that at the end of every night, the canteen guy used to give us all his hot food (chips etc) for free as he needed to get rid of them. Score.
