I went here and could not find the place. The shop has either closed or move to new location.

This is a great Salvation Army shop, one which I frequent often.
My friend and I recently went there for a bit of an op shop excursion and we left with our hands full. You can get so many great bargains here, from clothes to little antique bits and bobs, to old furniture.
What’s great about this place is that they check all the items before they are out on display so you know they are in a used, but perfectly okay condition.
I will be going back here when I start looking for new flat furniture too, as they have great items for very little money.

I like going to the Sallies because their prices aren’t ridiculous and they have nice staff and a good selection of pre-​loved clothes, furniture and houseware. The Henderson Sallies is probably my favourite when it comes to furniture, because they always have a lot of it and it changes often. I got a really beautiful old vintage paining for my bedroom, the takes up the entire space above my bed, for only $ 15 and it was in perfect condition. If you’re buying bigger furniture they’ll help you get it in or on your car, and they’ll also pick up furniture from your house that you want to donate. We donated our lounge suite and it ended up in Van’s living room on Outrageous Fortune. Actually.

Op shops, there are ample around and the industry is as competitive as mainstream shopping it seems. They are mostly run by charity organisations and do good, necessary deeds for our community. So, what stands out about this one more than all the others? It has a large selection of men’s clothing, simple as that! Men’s clothing is hard to come by second-​hand, so some people out there might find this information rather useful! This particular Salvation Army also have a $ 1 rack of clothes for those of you might be a bit cash-​strapped.
