This is a cheap and cheerful Thai restaurant in Te Atatu Peninsula. They do a decent good red curry which I get with chicken and my wife goes for the veggie option. The food is pretty authentically Thai alright but I find the whole experience of going there a little underwhelming. You don’t mind cheap and cheerful but I firmly believe there’s better places to eat in the peninsula — the Thai Peninsula nearby comes to mind. It’s a little dearer but the food is of a much better quality. The portions are bigger too so eating there probably works as much value as this place. As regards the friendliness of the staff, they were polite but didn’t go out of their way to ask how I was or anything. I think if I moved out of Te Atatu tomorrow, I would not be darkening the door of this joint again.

They have the most delicious Pad Thai and the Curry Puffs on the entrée menu are one of the yummiest things I’ve ever had, and I get them every single time I come here. I actually get the same thing every time I come here because it’s so good. The same two people are always working whenever I come in, and they are super friendly and will bring you your food in the car if you accidently wait in there for too long. The place isn’t the cleanest looking, but by no means dirty. The food is always hot and exactly how I order it. One of my favourite Thai places in Auckland and definitely the best out west.
