The Monkey Tree

While sitting outside enjoying a coffee in the sunshine (at Coffee Lab next door), my husband and I witnessed a staff member of this place speak incredibly rudely to some people who had parked in a designated Monkey Tree parking space by mistake. While it is completely reasonable to have asked the people to move their car, manners, politeness, and basic common courtesy are also a reasonable expectation. Saying ‘please’ and ‘thank you’ doesn’t take much time or effort. Customer service obviously needs some attention. Very disappointed! I can’t comment on the business itself, just wanted to share how comfortable some of the staff are with showing rudeness towards others.

If your little one is half as beautiful as mine, then you’ve got one darn gorgeous child there, and you should pat yourself on the back for having such awesome genes. You should also be spoiling your child with hugs and kisses, and do almost anything their hearts desire, I know I do.
That is why I’ve arranged for my son to entertain his friends to a magical pirate party at The Monkey Tree. For less than $ 40 a head you get food, drinks and live entertainment, plus they do all the set up and cleaning, and you can be in and out in less than a couple of hours.
The only negative is that they only cater for under-​twos during the week, so that needs improvement. The Monkey Tree is conveniently located next to the Coffee Lab, so you can always sneak out and get a quick caffeine fix.
