Z Milford

I fill up here often enough, especially when I’m heading north from Milford. Insofar as one can claim to ‘like’ a petrol station, I rather like this one. Conveniently located on the main road, on occasion a bit of a mission to turn in when the traffic’s busy, and doubly so to turn out again, especially if you’re headed north. But the forecourt is very roomy, such that even if it’s busy you can negotiate your way to a free pump. Once or twice I’ve even done a U-​turn and reversed back to a free pump if that was the readiest way of doing it. Staff are always very friendly, seem to remember me from previous visits. Depending on how busy it is, they offer to pump your gas for you, which saves a little bit of time and is just a nice touch.
