dishes were very tasty, my steak cooked just right to perfection, the sauce beautifully added in the taste without masking the natural flavor of the meat. The waitress that served us were very attentive and sweet. Loved it all!

Easily my favourite place in Mairangi Bay! Now I know Papermoon got café of the year and is «the best in Mairangi» but ask any local and they’ll tell you Zavitos is where it’s at! Even though all the tables are very nearly always full, the wait is never too long and the almost overly friendly staff and owner will keep you well entertained while you wait for a table. There is even a bar to perch at to get the night started. A lot of people stick to the authentic Zavitos pizzas when they come here but I have always been a fan of the Chicken Camembert dish! Holy Cow there is nothing better if you ask me. The chicken is always perfect and flavored with such love. It sits on an outrageous bed of veges and is drizzled with this tantalizing plum sauce. My friends also rave about Zavito’s chicken salads and although I always vow to try them on my next visit you can’t tear me away from my signature dish.
