Don’t expect too much; then life will reward you.
As it is the same situation for Nishiki.
A cozy little place for lunch and dinner, you always find something warm something matching your appetite at that moment.
Choose Pork Cutlet with rice&miso soup if you are starving;
Choose Sukiyaki with rice if you are feeling cold, the buzzing stock with all sorts of flavor will feed you well;
If you are looking for something Japan, seek seafood Donbury, or just choose sashimi;
If you come on a summer day, then definitely not to miss the Mocha ice cream.
Always ready for an empty belly, and, a hungry heart for food&warmth. Nishiki is an award, for a simple but proper Japanese treat.

Nishiki for me was an average-​joe Japanese restaurant. I popped in here for a lunch on my friends work break. The store interior seems to have lived its days already with the seat cushions starting to come apart.
The food wasn’t terrible and the pricing was «okay». However it still seems to be pretty popular. Service was nothing more than taking your order and delivering the food (Water and Tea is self-​served).
