Our tour group stopped here very briefly when visiting the South Island. Small but enough to keep you occupied while waiting on the flight.

Nice regional airport. Queenstown Airport is quite well organized when you walk in. It’s small but has everything you need, even a large bookstore! However, once you go through security be aware that there is nothing really available on the other side(food, stores etc.) There were a couple of vending machines but that was about it. Staff was friendly, especially the lady at security who warned me not to go through yet because I was over an hour early for my flight :)

A pretty decent airport, Good selection of duty free. Easy to get to and from the city at a cheap cost using the buses. Staff were friendly

Tiny regional airport with a great restaurant inside! Lots of shop choices while you’re waiting around for your flight and hands down the nicest security people ever. Watch your baggage weight as they do enforce weight limitations, but considering most of the flights out are larger size regional jets, I can see why. But – this airport has a nice layout, easy to find your way around and lots of spots to charge electronics. What’s not to like about this spot for public transportation! WIFI is free for the first 30 minutes but afterwards it does kick you off so be warned.

What a cute little airport! Very small compared to the big U.S. airports we are used to. Very quaint, but efficient here. They do ruthlessly enforce their baggage weight limitations. You can go over, but you will pay for that. Quennstown is a small town, so getting to and from here from our hotel was very quick and easy.
