Great fish and chips! They can do grilled as well as deep fried. Choose between several fish varieties. Kitchen made a mistake and fried both orders when we had ordered one grilled. There was no hesitation on correcting the order. Owner was apologetic about the mistake when bringing correct order to table.
Fish portions were very generous, as were the fried potatoes. Came with fresh little side salad, that both of us liked. They also offer burgers, sandwiches, and pastries.
Just having arrived in NZ a couple of days earlier, still getting accustom to the currency exchange. What I thought was expensive, was really a great value. I could never find in US, fish portion like here, with generous chips and side salad, for US$ 12 (NZ$ 15). I recommend this place and would come back.
