I was introduced to Noodle Canteen by my friend who used to exuberantly exclaim that the noodles come in a box! Woohoo! I was sorely disappointed, however, to find that they didn’t :(I’ve only ever been served them from a tub. But that may be just me, as I’ve seen people eating from a box. :(
The food makes up for it, though. It’s freshly made, you can watch them making it, the ingredients and flavours are great and there’s an extensive menu to choose from. There’s also a good variety of vegetarian options, and the staff are generally quite accomodating (they will leave out certain things if you ask).
The only reason this gets a 3-​star from me is, aside from the box thing, I actually got this the other day, and my beloved Vege Mee Goreng did not come with tofu. They left it out! That made me upset. I do love tofu.

The rich favours and the fact that you can create your very own dish ensure you will never get sick of this takeout restaurant. So grab your friends or family and create your own taste of Asia.
