A basic, no frills hairdressing experience. I often get the impression it’s more aimed at kids as there always seems to be a lot of little boys getting their cut when I go there. I don’t speak for all men, but my hair is not really a big deal to me. I leave it for three or four months to get my moneys worth and then chop it all off. That normally costs me $ 27. I know some men take their grooming seriously so they might like to look elsewhere for a haircut. The staff are usually quite friendly and will indulge in a bit of smalltalk — I’m Irish so chatting to complete strangers is nothing new. There is a high turnover of customers on the weekend so you usually have to wait a bit. I think if I had a special occasion coming up, I might go to Rodney Wayne but for a regular, basic haircut, this place is perfectly ok.
