My bloomin heel had come off… again. I’d already had this pair of high heels fixed once; but because I’d forked out more than I probably should have for them, I refused to chuck them out. So feeling optimistic l I headed to The Cobbler shop in Orewa. The cobbler tut tutted a little bit, and told me he would ‘see what he could do’. My hopes plummeted. A week later I came back and was stoked to see a fully operational pair of shoes, heels n all. He had to do full on surgery apparently so it did set me back $ 30 (nearly another for whole pair) but I was pleased. I’ve since worn them to two weddings and a day at the races and the heel is still intact. The Cobbler Shop, nice job!
