Ardmore Airport

Have been here several times for airshows and a couple of flights. It is so quiet on non show days, you can just watch the light aircraft flying taking off and landing. You may even get to see a Warbird on a practice flight.
On show days it is so different, so many people, so many aircraft and things happening. Always plenty of choice of food and drink. Find a good spot and enjoy the show.
Parking is often backed up on the surrounding roads, so be prepared for lots of walking.

I came here for an event last weekend and really wanted to review it. I think its such a great place to hold a big event, the one I went to showcased planes and cars at the same time. It’s a huge location, they managed to fit so many food stalls around all the displays, which I loved because usually at big events like this, you don’t get much selection in terms of food, just hot chips and fizzy drinks. There was plenty of parking, which was free, again an unusual perk for a car event. Plenty of loud speakers all around, so we knew exactly what was going on in all the different areas. One thing they didn’t have was seating, but not many event locations have that so luckily this time I had taken my own pop up chair. Great venue = a great day was had!
