This is a perfect site for a takeaway shop, but for some reason has changed hands many times in the past few years. I was excited to see that it had been taken over again and we popped in for Fish n Chips before heading out to Omaha Beach. Sadly it was a bit disappointing. We ordered 2 pieces of fish; the Hoki was the cheapest but they’d run out so we went for the snapper instead at $ 6.50 a piece. A scoop of chips later, a small pot of aioli and a milkshake, we parted with $ 18. That wouldn’t have been so bad if the quality was really good, but everything was just ok. The fish was fresh, but batter was a bit bland(and no slice of lemon). It was a good serving of chips, but no salt. And the aioli, just a little wee pot for $ 3 was a bit sad. So overall it was all ok, but just missed those little extras(salt and sauce) to make it a brilliant feed of Fish n Chips
