I usually love Nandos and hate to be the bearer of bad news but I was highly disappointed with my experience here :(
Although it appeared to be their opening or a celebratio of some sort, the food was no where near the quality Nandos usually is. I even emailed through a complaint weeks ago and didn’t even get a response!
It has definitely put us off Nandos for awhile…

Lincoln Road branch is the only Nandos outlet in Auckland we prefer to eat. Their customer service is just awesome and food is well cooked and hot and not burnt. Host and servers always come and ask if everything is fine and if we need anything else. Smiling faces all the time. I love Nandos only if eaten at Nandos Lincoln Road Branch.

I am a fan of Nandos but I must give an honourable mention to the branch on Lincoln Road. Not to be confused with the one in Henderson mall, this branch is far better in terms of quality of the food and friendliness of service. They get the chicken just right, perfectly moist and the amount of lemon and herb is perfect. You would be forgiven for thinking you were eating in a much more upmarket restaurant as the food is superb. But aside from this the staff are super duper friendly. They really fall over you when you come in and you feel you are long lost friend or something. I do generally find there is very good customer service in Auckland but this place is a notch above the rest. We often come to this batch of shops on Lincoln Road for our Friday night takeaway but I find myself coming back to this place time after time.

Where do I even start? This place is the epitome of amazing! I have always joked around and said, they must use drugs in their sauces because the food there is addictive. The addition got out of hand when at one point, my boyfriend and I where eating there almost everyday. It took all my will power to cut down to once a week.
After wondering about why I was so addicted I came to the conclusion that it was the service. The service there is out of this world. Nothing warms my heart more than when somebody remembers my order, enquires genuinely about my family and looks happy to see me.
I’m now at the point where I walk in and order the usual (¼ chicken with lemon and herb sauce, chips and passionfruit ti-​tonics.
