Amazing bread, simple sammies, really good eats. Can get busy at times and feels more like a cafeteria than a simple quaint bakery, but the food more than makes up for it. Awesome for a grab and go if your heading out of town on a road trip.

Nice food– super crap service. The customer is almost an inconvenience to the staff who seem more interested in talking to each other than taking your order. It appears they are doing you a favor by actually serving you. Adding to that it is expensive… they get a star because the food is good– if you can put up with the rudeness…

I love the selection of pastries they have. I just want to keep coming here to taste each pastry. I still have to try their croinut. I wish they had a small location in the CBD that I can walk to because the Thorndon location is a bit far to walk.

I went to work and in my hurry forgot to take my lunch with me. Thankfully after a bit of a wander I found this gem. The place was busy and the display cases mouth watering. They have the usual fare for a bakery as well as making their own crepes(savoury or sweet), cronuts(plain, chocolate or something else I can’t remember) and various quiches and salads. I opted for the beef and mushroom quiche, a small Caesar salad and a framboisier. The food was lovely and the framboisier delightful(the kind you don’t share). They lose a star as the quiche had too much pepper in it. I mean I could takes the pepper more than the rest of the quiche. They said they opened from 7am most mornings, 7.30am sat and sun. So a good place to stroll to for some fresh morning supplies on the weekend.
