Fantastic pies! Who ate all the pies? Tawa locals considering the lack of available car parks out the the front and generous waistlines seen exiting. It is hard not to get in to the habit of stopping here for lunch nearly everyday, the pastries and sweet treats are delish. Good splattering of blue overalls amongst the customers make it a genuine old school bakery.

Nada bakery used to only exist in Johnsonville solely as a bakery. It now exists also in Tawa with the addition of being a café. Nada’s filled a void between the main drag of Tawa and Dress Mart when it comes to somewhere for a coffee a chat and a pastry, I don’t really eat pastries, but I can appreciate from the smell that they are doing it right. Oh and my family wolf them down like there is no tomorrow. They lose only one star because whilst sometimes the coffee is sometimes spot on sometimes it is not, and with the Little Bohemian down the road it has some tough competition. If you love a custard slice, bread or cake. You will love Nada Bakery.
