Dagelijks Lekker is one of my favorites in this area. Everything in this shop is 1.70 euros; Salads, drinks, sandwiches, soups etc.
My two favorites; «Hete Kip or Ossenworst».
There is mostly a queue between 12.30 and 13.30 but they provide very fast and good service.
They also have sandwich shop in Haarlem but the one in Amsterdam makes better sandwiches.

This place is great for a quick sandwich and soda in the Amsterdam-​Zuid area. The sandwiches are fresh daily and they are tasty. I usually get 2 as they are not huge, but for the price, you can’t beat it!
The staff is fast and friendly. Making it easy to order and even helping a bit if you are trying to practice your Dutch.

Even though I’m not Dutch, one of my favourite past times is paying as little for something as humanly possible. ;) When faced with the option in the Zuid area of a 17 euro salad or a 1.70 euro sandwich for lunch, you KNOW Imma go for that cheap sandwich. It so happens that these cheap sandwiches aren’t just a piece of cheese between 2 hunks of bread — they are REAL sandwiches with REAL PIECES of kip– not that lunchmeat style kip!
I love everything about this shop — they are fast and have serving customers down to a science. Everything is the same price (1.70) and though it’s not gourmet, it is awesome and (as their name states) lekker!
