The phrase «The work praises his master» is written on the front window, and this one man shop lives by that saying. I’ve only had a few things dry cleaned here over the years, including my wedding dress, but he’s always done a good job and the prices were always fair. He’s also done some alterations of pants for pretty cheap or fixed a zipper of a jacket and the work was always well done.
He only takes cash, so if you find yourself with only a pin pass or credit card on hand, he’ll let it slide and let you pay the next time you come in, so that gives me a nice «being a part of the neighborhood» feel. He also waves when you pass by on the sidewalk, so that completes my Mr. Roger’s neighborhood feeling when I walk down this street with my daughter.
