Lovely visit to this recently established venue yesterday 1÷10÷2015. Very nice people, great food befitting of a five Star hotel or better, superb choice of great wines and overall exceptional value for money. I wish Tania and her team every success their efforts deserve it. John M(Switzerland)

They have around 40 types of wine by the glass at a reasonable price. The small bites are good and the kitchen is open style so it gives you a very nice impression, Service is very friendly. Only thing to take into account is that you can’t pay cash, only pin.

We went for a Petite High Wine which includes four full glasses of wine and four separate bites that were paired with the wine. There is another high wine available with five courses too, if that’s your thing. We found the four glasses to be more than sufficient! With so much wine, I would have loved more bites.(Which you are able to order separately if you’d like) The wines were lovely and paired very nicely with the bites. While pouring the wines, Tanya(the owner) explained each wine and then explained what the dish was that would accompany it and why that specific wine and dish work well together. The Gebakken gamba’s met garnalentoast en tomatenjam was amazing. If you get no other bite, get that one. Maybe I am just a certain kind of person that feels this way, but I love a restaurant that looks beautiful, spacious, not super casual, but not stuff and pretentious either. This interior is exactly the kind I love to see. It feels just right. Not sure how to explain it otherwise. There are various types of seating from bar stools, to intimate café style to a larger table. Upstairs included more seating as well. The owner was nothing but pleasant and I have a feeling that she wants nothing but the best experience for her customers. You would think you could say that about every place, but it’s just not true. We will most definitely be back… and take friends! PIN only, no Cash

Lovely place for drinking a glass of(good) wine with friends. Flippie, from Unilocal, introduced me to this place and I just loved its atmosphere: trendy, yet casual. You don’t need to be all dressed up, and you won’t feel out of place because of that. The waiter was suuuuper friendly, he even helped us remember how to say«cheers» in different languages(proust, saúde, salute, slainte, skål, cheers, salud, na zdorovje… how many more can you think of?). I tried a refreshing Vinho Verde, a perfect choice for a warm evening in Amsterdam — it’s my favourite choice of wine, I must say. So light, fresh and easy to drink. The bites are really just small portions of food to share, a lovely concept. Still have to come back here more often to savour other wines, so this review will probably be bigger — and better! — pretty soon. ;)
